Women sh*t test men all the time.

They are programmed to test men, and they are so used to it that most of the time they themselves are unaware that they're testing men. They do it subconsciously.

But why do they do this?

There are certain reasons why they do this.

EVOLUTIONARY

Women are evolved "not to wait" until they're 8 months pregnant, being unable to protect herself from the sabre toothed tiger outside her cave, only to find out their man does not have the capability to protect her and the offspring.

So they feel compelled to push your buttons early, and often, to see if you stand up for yourself.

HYPERGAMY

She wants to be with the best man she can. She wants the man to be better than her.

For that, she will test again and again to make sure you're better than her, and the best she can get.

CONGRUENCY

Women test men to see if their actions align with their promises.

She uses this to determine if you're genuinely a worthy man, or doing all this to get into her pants.

TEST OF STRENGTH

It makes a woman feel safe and secure with the knowledge that her man is "strong, dominant and confident"

and can handle her (and thus most likely most other things).

In a concluding note, you should be happy when a woman tests you. Women only test the men they are interested in. She won't care to test a man she isn't interested to spend any time with.
